This page describes the public Polynesian Escape journal as launched on 5 September 2026.

Browsing the journal

You can read the website without an account. The site has no newsletter signup, booking form, payment facility or comment system. We do not add advertising trackers or analytics scripts to the launch version.

The hosting infrastructure may process ordinary request information, such as an IP address, requested page, time and browser details, to deliver and protect the website. This page does not promise that infrastructure logs do not exist.

Search and sharing

Journal filtering runs in your browser against the published article collection. Using the search form places your search term in the page address, so it may appear in browser history and ordinary server request logs. Avoid entering personal or sensitive information into a public-site search.

The Copy link button copies the current article’s public address when your browser permits it. It does not publish a message or send the address to another person.

External websites

Source, photographer and licence links take you to independent websites with their own privacy practices. Images and fonts displayed in the public journal are served from this site rather than embedded from those external pages.

Private preview

A private Sites copy may require authentication and is governed by the hosting platform’s separate access and privacy arrangements. That preview is distinct from the public website at polynesianescape.com.
